How do you get your child used to wearing glasses?

If your child needs glasses, an eye test is only the first step. The second step, and perhaps the biggest challenge, is making sure your child actually wears the glasses. Some kids are so impressed by everything they can suddenly see with glasses that they have no trouble with them at all. Other kids need a little more time to get used to wearing glasses. You can help them in various ways. For example, you can point out their favourite musicians or actors who look really cool with their glasses. Letting your child choose a nice frame themselves, in their favourite colour of course, also works well.
