Choosing
your ski goggle
On SINNER's ski goggles help and advice page, you will find essential information to help you choose the right ski goggles for your needs. Good lenses not only offer 100% UV protection, but also protect your eyes from bright light reflected by the snow. UV radiation is particularly strong in the mountains, making proper eye protection especially important.
The lenses also help protect your eyes from snow, ice and branches on the slopes. Discover the different lens options, fits and technologies available at SINNER, so you can hit the slopes with confidence and comfort.

LENS GUIDE
Which lens do you need for which type of weather?
Ski goggles are available with different coloured lenses suitable for specific weather conditions The brighter the sun shines, the darker the lens should be to maintain the best vision. The darker the weather, the lighter the lens for more contrasty vision Ultimately, the goal is to relieve strain on your eyes When you have to look less strained you get tired less quickly Below is an image showing the different lens categories, as you need a different lens for each weather condition For more information on lens categories, click here.
Lens technologies
SINNER offers advanced lens technologies for ski goggles, designed to deliver optimal performance in a wide range of conditions. SINTRAST® lenses enhance color saturation and contrast, helping improve visibility and detail in demanding conditions. Polarized SINTEC® lenses reduce reflections and blinding glare while filtering blue light for improved vision and comfort. Photochromic TRANS+® lenses adapt quickly to changing light conditions, helping provide optimal protection throughout the day.
With these innovations, SINNER combines engineering and innovation to create high-performance ski goggles.

Colour & Contrast
Polarized lenses eliminate glare and reflections while enhancing contrast, depth perception and visual comfort in changing light conditions.

Contrast enhancement
SINTRAST® lenses enhance contrast and bring out important colours and details for clearer, more comfortable vision. They are designed to improve visual performance in specific sports and light conditions.

Photochromic adaptation
TRANS+® lenses automatically adjust from lighter to darker tints as light conditions change, helping maintain clear vision and consistent protection. The fast photochromic response makes them suitable for changing weather and varying light throughout the day.
Goggle fit
Find the right fit for your face
SINNER's ski goggles are designed with careful attention to fit and comfort. Models with an ‘S’ after the name, such as the Arc S and the Snowghost II S, are specifically designed for narrower faces.
Although we do not offer different sizes within each model, every model has its own unique fit to suit a variety of face shapes. In addition, all straps are adjustable, allowing you to achieve a secure and comfortable fit regardless of the model.

Lens options
Magnetic ski goggles
SINNER offers ski goggles with magnetic lenses, supplied as standard with both a category 1 and a category 2 lens. The lenses are easy to change, allowing you to adapt your vision to different weather and light conditions.
SINNER also offers replacement lenses, making it easy to replace a damaged lens or add an extra lens in a different category.
Different lens shapes
In general, ski goggle lenses can be divided into two main shapes: cylindrical and spherical. A cylindrical lens has a flatter shape, while a spherical lens curves both horizontally and vertically. A cylindrical lens may cause slightly more optical distortion, while a spherical lens generally provides a clearer and wider field of vision.Because of these characteristics, ski and snowboard goggles with spherical lenses are generally more expensive than those with cylindrical lenses. SINNER ski and snowboard goggles with spherical lenses include the Vorlage.Want to learn more about the technology behind our lenses? Take a look at our lens technology page.

Cylindrical Lens
A cylindrical lens curves horizontally from left to right, providing a wide field of vision while keeping the lens and frame relatively slim and lightweight.

Spherical Lens
A spherical lens curves both horizontally and vertically, following the natural contours of the eyes. This helps reduce optical distortion compared with a cylindrical lens and provides a more natural view. Spherical lenses are often larger, so the frame needs to provide enough space to accommodate their shape.

Toric Lens
A toric lens has a stronger horizontal curve than vertical curve. This provides a wide field of vision from left to right while helping to reduce optical distortion. Because the vertical curve is less pronounced, the lens has a flatter profile than a spherical lens.
Frames with toric lenses often have a similar appearance to cylindrical designs, while still offering a large lens surface comparable to spherical goggles.

Care & storage
Instructions for use and storage
Keep your SINNER ski/snowboard goggles in optimal condition. To enjoy your ski goggles for a long time, you should maintain them properly.
Storage advice
SINNER recommends storing sunglasses in the provided microfibre sunglass bag or sunglass case in a dry and cool place, never in direct sunlight and at a temperature between -5˚C and +25˚C / 23 and 77 Fahrenheit.
Dry storage
Ski and snowboard goggles should be completely dry before storing them.
Storage Trans+® lenses
In addition, our TRANS+® photochromic lenses should be stored in a dark place.
Cleaning the inside of the lens
The inside of the lens has an anti-fog coating and should therefore be cleaned very carefully. Use a soft, dust-free cloth and avoid applying pressure while cleaning.
Hard or rough surfaces
Avoid contact with hard or rough surfaces to prevent damage to the lens.
Microfibre pouch
Use the microfibre bag or microfibre cleaning cloth provided with the sunglasses to clean them. Alternatively, rinse them with tap water and dry them with a clean, dust-free cloth.
Cleaning products
Never clean your sunglasses with detergents, as cleaning agents often contain chemicals that can damage the materials. The same applies to wet wipes and hygiene wipes.
Sunscreen products
Take extra care when applying sunscreen while wearing SINNER sunglasses. Sunscreen products often contain chemicals that may affect or damage the materials of the sunglasses.
Use in traffic
CAUTION: Ski and snowboard goggles are not suitable for use while participating in traffic.
Key features
SINNER ski/snowboard goggles feature various technologies to make wearing them as comfortable as possible.
Flexible Frame
This allows the goggle frame to fit snugly against the face while remaining flexible in all weather conditions.
Hypoallergenic foam
The hypoallergenic foam rests comfortably against the face, providing a secure fit and protection against wind, cold and snow while helping to reduce the risk of allergic reactions.
Double Lens
The double lens creates an insulating layer of air between the lenses, helping to reduce temperature differences and minimize condensation on the inner lens.
Lens ventilation
Provides additional airflow to help keep the inner lens warm and dry, reducing the risk of condensation.
Frame ventilation
Openings at the front of the frame provide additional airflow, helping to improve air circulation and reduce condensation.
Outrigger system
When used with a ski helmet, the outrigger system helps provide a comfortable and consistent fit for the goggles.
Adjustable Headband
The adjustable headband helps keep the goggles securely and comfortably in place on your head or helmet. The length can be easily adjusted for the right fit.
